Hip hop music is at the root of what Obese Aesthetics is, its part of our creative DNA, so when the UK’s first Hip-hop festival approached us to work on their print materials we jumped at the chance. Over a few years we developed their existing brand identity and logo into striking but clean individual aesthetics unique to each year’s feel. The mission was to keep things contemporary and exciting and not veer too close to obvious graffiti tropes whilst keeping the essence of the culture strong.
